Opting for a clean energy source:

When we use fossil fuels like coal, oil, etc. We are creating a huge amount of greenhouse gas emissions. However, solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric dams, etc aren't used as often. Even though "renewable energy sources typically emit about 50g or less of Co2 emissions per kWh over their lifetime compared to about 1000g CO2/kWh for coal, and 475g CO2/kWh for natural gas." In conclusion, using clean energy will lessen the number of greenhouse gasses we emit every day, which will slow down global warming.

We all know the root of our problem with global warming is the number of greenhouse gasses we admit every day, from using fossil fuels to running our everyday lives. However, a problem with global warming that is important is "trees, when they are cut, release the carbon they have been storing. As humans, we are seen as consumers, by companies wanting us to buy the products they are selling. Then, to fall in love with their product and buy it again. Falling into a toxic cycle of buyer and seller. If the product is not sustainable or able to be recycled then it will just go to the dump after one usage. This is a waste because of all the fossil fuel we need to make the product. "Sustainable consumption and production are about doing more and better with less. It is also about decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation, increasing resouce efficiency and promoting sustainable lifestyles".
